On March 3, 2026, the "X tech Challenge Seminar" (organized by the Miyagi Prefectural Government's Department of Economy, Commerce and Tourism, New Industry Promotion Division) was held at the Sendai City Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Revitalization Center. This event brings together manufacturing companies in Miyagi Prefecture to collaborate with startup companies, exploring opportunities for mutual growth while challenging themselves to develop new businesses and products.
Helical Fusion was given the opportunity to give a presentation in a corner where startup companies from all over Japan gathered to showcase their strengths and core technologies. Hiroyuki Yamaguchi from the Business Promotion Department gave an overview of fusion energy and reported on the progress of the Helix Program , a development plan to achieve "practical power generation" through nuclear fusion.
