On June 26, 2025, Helical Fusion was featured in the keynote session of AWS Summit Japan, the country’s largest cloud event hosted by Amazon Web Services. The segment included a video highlighting our work and an interview with our Co-Founder and CEO, Takaya Taguchi.
The keynote was viewed by approximately 13,000 attendees, both in person and online, and the two-day event drew a total of over 70,000 participants—a testament to its scale and influence.
We were honored to be introduced as a leading example of how cloud computing is accelerating deep tech innovation. In the field of fusion energy, advanced simulation technology has become a vital source of competitive strength. We hope that our journey toward the world’s first steady-state net power fusion power plant, based on our original helical-stellarator design, can serve as a valuable reference for deep tech innovators across industries.
