Helical Fusion Showcases at SMART ENERGY WEEK 2025

From September 17–19, Helical Fusion participated in SMART ENERGY WEEK 2025, one of Japan’s largest energy conferences and exhibitions, held at Makuhari Messe.

In the keynote session, our COO & Head of Business Development, Yosuke Kubo, joined a panel with Kyoto Fusioneering and Sumitomo Corporation, fellow leaders of the Japan Fusion Energy Council (J-Fusion). The discussion highlighted the status and outlook of both the global and Japanese fusion industry, with an audience of nearly 600 people filling the keynote hall.

Helical Fusion also exhibited within the dedicated Fusion Power World section. Over three days, our booth welcomed more than 700 visitors, and our standalone seminar reached full capacity with additional standing attendees. The strong interest underscored growing awareness of fusion energy and provided an opportunity to directly communicate the advantages of the Helical Stellarator, our business approach, and pathways for collaboration.

SMART ENERGY WEEK 2025 proved to be a milestone for reinforcing fusion’s position as a serious contender in the clean energy transition.
