A gateway to success for global startups, with previous event awards received by Dropbox, Mercari, Preferred Networks, Tesla, and other great startup companies
Helical Fusion has been selected for the "Innovation Showcase of 2024" as one of the five exceptional Japanese startup companies built around new technologies and innovative business ideas that have the potential for major worldwide impact, at the "2024 Japan – U.S. Innovation Awards", organized by the Japan Society of Northern California and the Stanford US-Asia Technology Management Center.
Established in 2011, this recognition program has previously honored companies such as Dropbox, Mercari, Preferred Networks, and Tesla during their early stages, when they were still in nascent stages, and is a program known as a gateway for startups to achieve global success.
Helical Fusion was selected from 60 carefully selected candidates. The selection process involved rigorous review, discussion, and voting from esteemed members of the Innovation Advisory Council, which comprises venture investors, entrepreneurs, executives, and academic experts from both Japan and the United States.
As for the reasons for Helical Fusion’s selection; These included our large potential of unique development capabilities, and our concrete aim to not only achieve fusion power generation but also to realize a commercial fusion reactor as a steady-state power source.
We are thrilled to have received the most votes through the rigorous evaluation based on Silicon Valley standards.
